This garment is made from a blend of 95% cotton and 5% elastic which gives the fabric a good amount of stretch and the elastic allows for the stretch to recover.
Our garments are made by hand; this means we give it thought. Every seam is reinforced because kids need to move and clothing needs to move with them. We mean for this garment to be the favourite: the softest, the most comfortable, the colour obsession of the moment, and our ultimate goal - the one you have to wash when your kid’s asleep. Our fabrics are imported from Europe where the standards are just higher. They are safe on the skin, hold up wash after wash, retain colour saturation integrity, and are easy to care for. We prewash all of our fabrics to minimize shrinkage on your end.
All fabrics benefit from a gentle touch when it comes to laundering but we have no hesitation in recommending you throw it in with the regular wash and directly into the dryer. The garment will hold up beautifully. We predict this will be first thing your hands reach for out of dryer. You’ll get it when you get it. :)
